How it works
When you sign-up for our service, we contact you to discuss the service and make sure that it is suitable. We also aim to understand at what time of the day suits your routine, so that the medications can be pouched for use at time points that suit you during the day.
We deliver or post/courier your prescription right to your doorstep in a small discreet box, depending on your location. Inside contains a labelled cardboard dispenser box, with your reel of small, easy-to-open plastic pouches which have been separated for various time points within the day e.g. morning, lunch, teatime and night. Any medications that cannot go in a pouch, for example, non regular medications, liquids, inhalers, creams will be supplied alongside. Each pouch is printed with:

-
The name and date of birth of the patient
-
The name, quantity and description of each tablet/capsule contained within that pouch
-
The day and time (Morning, Lunchtime, Teatime or Bedtime) that each pouch is due to be opened and used
-
The expiry date of that specific pouch

The pouches are pre-organised, in the order of the day that they're due to be used. The cardboard dispenser box contains all of the labels for your medication, which includes the total quantity of that specific medication in the whole reel, the directions that the prescriber has given us, with what pouch(s) contain that medication in brackets. Medication specific warnings are also included on this label so must be read carefully.

You can post your green NHS prescription to us, which we can dispense against, or your GP surgery can send us your prescription electronically. If you would like to sign up for your prescriptions to be sent to us electronically, then complete the sign up form and we will take care of the rest.
FAQs
-
How does it work? You can sign up on our website, or nominate us at your GP surgery when ordering your next repeat prescription. When we receive your prescription for the first time, we will give you a call to discuss your requirements. If you choose pouches we will need to undertake a risk assessment to ensure it is suitable for you and the medication you are taking. If suitable, we will discuss when you take each of your medications to ensure we pouch them to suit your needs. Any 'when required' medication on your prescription will be sent out as original packs with your pouches (providing these are on your prescription). Once your medication is ready, we will deliver it to your door using Royal Mail or via one of our delivery drivers, depending on your location. Please note that the acceptance onto "pouches" is based upon an assessment by the Pharmacist.

If it isn't suitable, it will be supplied separately, alongside your pouches If a medication is removed from your prescription during the month, we suggest that you remove it from the pouches as soon as you can, to avoid any confusion. Each medication is described clearly on each pouch it is in (e.g. red round tablet, blue capsule etc), making it easier to distinguish between various medicines.
